Green Valley Lake is a secluded four season resort community.

Green Valley Lake is located between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, off Highway 18. One of the highest mountain communities, Green Valley Lake offers an opportunity to enjoy clean air and water, privacy and nature, quiet and peace.

Green Valley Lake was established in 1892 as a toll station on the old main dirt road connecting San Bernardino to Big Bear. Now Green Valley Lake is a community of only 1,100 cabins and a full time population of 800 (per post office). The private 14 acre lake was built in 1926 for the recreation of the property owners and still offers fishing, boating and a swimming beach for property owners and visitors.

The town of Green Valley Lake is made up of a hardware store, gift shop, a cabin rental agency, the Lakeside Inn Restaurant, Trinity Mountain Café, realtor’s offices, a general store, a post office and community center. Just outside of Main Street is Trinity Mountain Resort, Green Valley Lake’s own Ski Resort.

There is no- better place to go than Green Valley Lake, California. This lovely; peaceful lake community is nestled in the San Bernardino Mountains and only a short drive from Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego Counties. Green Valley Lake is surrounded by a beautiful serene lake and National Forest. The entire community is surrounded by national forest!

During the winter Green Valley Lake offers cross country skiing, snow shoe hiking trails, down hill skiing, snowboarding and sledding. Green Valley Lake also is only a short 3 mile drive from Snow Valley Ski Resort and a little future to Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. Enjoy a full day of skiing and relax in a peaceful setting.

During the summer there is a supervised beach and swimming area. Paddleboats and rowboats are available for rent. Barbecuing and volleyball areas are on the beach. Fishing is excellent in the well stocked lake. Hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking are also favorite recreational activities located in Green Valley Lake. Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead are just a short drive away.
